Hi First Light Travel,

A group of 6 of us will be finishing a tour of South Island in 2 days time in which your agency helped to arrange for us. We would like to say a big thank you for the arrangements made and the care and concern accorded to us by your team, especially Sofie who was our tour consultant from day 1. Please let her know we are appreciative of the care she showed us and the detailed arrangements that were made every step of our travel. We are especially thankful and impressed with her professionalism in handling the last minute change in our travel itinerary due to the inclement weather 2 weeks prior to our arrival in New Zealand which resulted in the washing away of a vital bridge connecting Queenstown to Franz Josef. Please thank her for us.

Please also let your counterparts In Christchurch know that we are very happy with the service and care rendered to us by Kevin, the guide assigned to us for the entire duration of our travel in South Island. Kevin was always cheerful and accommodating to our requests and all the seniors in our group had a soft spot for him after their time spent with him. Please let him know we are most appreciative of his care for our small group this whole time. We felt very safe and were impressed with his driving skills. He always ensured we had our seat belts on and he navigated all the curves with care. He was a safe driver that made us all felt safe in his hands. He always had our safety and comfort foremost in his interactions with us.

Thank you first light travel for everything. I am writing this with a sadness that my group and I will be leaving in 2 days time. If ever we return to New Zealand, we know which travel agency we would like to take care of our travel plans. Have a great weekend.

Wow, what a truly amazing experience, First Light Travel put together for our honeymoon. With very little input, other than knowing we wanted to experience the entire island in a 2 week period, she was able to plan a once in a lifetime trip. We had a golfing party of six and our tour of NZ North and South golf courses were just spectacular and memorable; playing some of the top courses in NZ like Cape Kidnapper, Kinloch, Jack's Point and Mill Broke. The accommodations were generally of great selection by the Agency and were located not far from the golf courses or city centers. Jo of First Light Travel was our point person and she ensured that all little details were crossed and dotted. On top of that, she had been most accommodating with our changes to the itinerary. I will not hesitate to strongly recommend Jo to handle your trip planning to NZ.

Our First Light travel agent, Kasey, did a great job of planning our month of New Zealand travels. From sailing the Bay of Islands to playing golf at the Kinloch Club to exploring the South Island from Queenstown to Greymouth to Christchurch by plane, train and automobile, it was an itinerary with just enough time in each location to see stunning scenery and to enjoy the sites while staying in lovely accommodations with many delicious meals. Everything worked very well from transportation to hotels. Kudos for making our trip perfect!

We used First Light Travel for our month's stay in New Zealand. Somewhat timid at first to fork over the money to someone unseen and unknown but it all worked out perfectly. The back and forth went very smoothly, changes were accepted without any fuss, and they handed us a perfect vacation that was hassle free. We referred to their itinerary sheet as “the bible”; it was very detailed. They suggested things we might enjoy in addition to the golfing aspect of the trip which was our main intent. The best recommendation I can give is that at the end of the trip we really didn't want to go home, even with the constant travel we had a relaxing fabulous time because First Light Travel made it easy, and we knew they always had our backs if something went wrong.
