Jo was able to help us customize the perfect self-drive itinerary that included an ideal blend of planned activities and free time for spur-of-the-moment fun. Planning, booking, and travelling was easy and worry-free, thanks to Jo. The level of detail she provided before and during the trip made for a stress-free enjoyable vacation. Having traveled to 25+ countries, New Zealand is one that we definitely plan on returning to…maybe this time with the kids in tow! We won't hesitate to use Jo and FLT again for future NZ travels.

From the minute I got in touch with them, their travel consultant Michelle Srzich quickly responded to me and I was able to swiftly plan my holiday out. She personally took charge of booking all accommodations and activities for my partner and myself. Everything was swiftly booked within 3 days of me getting in touch with First Light Travel. They also recommended me certain activities in each place that I could do. What was even more impressive was the value added service that was provided while I was in New Zealand itself. Unfortunately, I happened to be there at the time where Cyclone Gita was hitting the west coast and I had plans to drive up the coast during the exact period the storm hit. I got in touch with Michelle the day before the storm was scheduled to hit and she managed to change my itinerary around at such speed so that we would not be right at the forefront of the storm. I thought this was really impressive service and I am very grateful to her and First Light Travel for that. Many companies might not even do this much for the customer at such short notice. Clearly, their customer focus is of utmost importance to them and this is why I will always recommend them to anyone who wants to visit New Zealand. I really loved the country and we found that people were really friendly and helpful. I wish Michelle and First Light Travel all the best. New Zealand is a wonderful country and I know for sure I will be back again and again!
